AYT M ΟΠ CЄY MAKPINOC K ANTΩ/NINOC Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust of Macrinus, on the left, facing bare-headed, draped and cuirassed bust of Diadumenian, on the right. Rev. MAKPINOYΠ M ЄY Π AIΓЄΩN - ΔΞC Draped bust of Dionysios to right, with thyrsos over his left shoulder and bunch of grapes before. Haymann 149ba corr. (same dies, but obverse legend misread). SNG Paris 2347 (same dies). Rare. An attractive example of this interesting dynastic issue with lovely reddish highlights. Very fine.
